Privacy policy

Here I explain, in plain language, what data I receive through the Norte website, what I use it for, where it is stored and how you can ask to see, correct or delete it. This policy follows Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018), since Norte is based in Brazil.

1. Who looks after your data

Norte is the web design studio of Matheus Stakowski, who is responsible (the controller) for the data sent through this site. For anything related to privacy, reach me at matheusstakowski17@gmail.com.

2. What data I receive

Through the "Start my project" form:

  • your name, WhatsApp or email, and your business name and field;
  • your answers about the project: what the business does, the site's goal, whether you already have a site, type of project, preferences, timeline, budget range and notes;
  • the logo, business photos and brand colors you upload or choose.

If you contact me on WhatsApp, email or Instagram, I also receive whatever you send there. I don't ask for sensitive data (such as health, religion or ID documents). If you send photos showing other people, make sure they agree.

3. What I use it for

  • to reply to you and understand your business;
  • to prepare the plan and quote for your website;
  • if you hire me, to build the site with your material (logo, photos and colors).

I use this data based on your consent, given when you tick the box on the form, and for the pre-contract steps you request (LGPD, art. 7, items I and V). I don't sell your data and I don't use it for third-party advertising.

4. Where it is stored and who else has access

To work, the site uses these services:

  • Google (Sheets, Drive and Gmail): where answers and files are stored and where I get the email notification;
  • CallMeBot: a service that alerts me on WhatsApp when a brief arrives, with a summary of the answers;
  • Website hosting: the provider that keeps the site online may log technical access data (such as IP address and browser) for security and operation.

These services may store data outside Brazil. They are used only for the purposes above, following the LGPD rules on international transfers (art. 33).

5. Cookies

This site doesn't use tracking cookies, ads or visitor analytics tools. To display the site's fonts, your browser may fetch files from font servers (Fontshare), which receive technical connection data. The language you choose is stored only in your browser.

6. How long I keep it

If we don't start a project, I keep your data for up to 2 years after our last contact, to pick up a future conversation. If you become a client, I keep it for as long as the work lasts and for the period required by law. You can ask me to delete it sooner, at any time.

7. Your rights

Under the LGPD (art. 18), you can ask at any time for:

  • confirmation that I hold your data, and access to it;
  • correction of incomplete or outdated data;
  • anonymization, blocking or deletion of data;
  • data portability;
  • information about who it has been shared with;
  • withdrawal of consent.

Just write to matheusstakowski17@gmail.com or message me on WhatsApp +55 41 98485-2586. I reply within 15 days. If you feel your rights were not respected, you can also contact Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

8. Security

The data is kept in password-protected accounts that only I can access. No system is 100% immune to failure; if an incident puts your data at risk, I will notify you and the ANPD, as the law requires.

9. Changes to this policy

If I change anything important here, I update this page and the date at the top. The published version is always the one that applies.
